RV dealer parts are expensive. RV salvage yards are rare.
RV dealerships charge premium prices on parts, and orders often take days or weeks. RV salvage yards exist, but there aren't many, and inventory is inconsistent. Coach-specific parts, like slideouts and awnings, require finding a seller who stocks your manufacturer's components, not just the nearest yard.
How AnyPartsHub works for RV parts
Post your parts request with your RV type, year, manufacturer, model, and the specific part. Verified RV parts sellers respond with quotes. That includes salvage yards working on whole coaches, dealers with trade-in inventory, and appliance specialists.
You specify pickup or shipping. Many mechanical and appliance parts ship; large furniture and assemblies usually need local pickup.
The two categories of RV parts
Chassis parts (motorhomes only): Engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension follow the chassis brand. Most Class C motorhomes run a Ford E-450. Most Class A diesel pushers run Freightliner or Spartan. Source these through standard automotive or commercial channels for the chassis brand.
Coach parts: Everything specific to the coach builder: slideout systems, awnings, leveling jacks, appliances, interior furniture, windows, vents, and roofing. These are proprietary, so match them to your manufacturer and model year.
Parts that come up most often in salvage
- Refrigerators: Dometic and Norcold units pulled from totaled coaches. Model numbers matter for compatibility.
- Water heaters and furnaces: Atwood and Suburban. Confirm they were tested working before buying.
- Slideout motors: Schwintek, HWH, and Power Gear are the common failure points. Used motors are widely available.
- Awning components: Carefree and Dometic power awning arms, motors, and fabric.
- Leveling systems: HWH and Lippert rams, pumps, and control panels.
- Interior: Furniture and cabinetry from the same floor plan are the best source for matching pieces.
What to include in your request
- RV type (Class A, B, C motorhome, fifth wheel, travel trailer, toy hauler)
